Nicole briefly mentioned it before but GUN wasn’t entirely willing to hunt down Eggman. This page shows why minimal help was given. And imagine Commander Robotnik’s surprise when he finds out that the Freedom Fighters have his brother AND all seven chaos emeralds. The FF were right to worry that GUN was gunning for the chaos emeralds. The situation with the humans on Mobius will be expanded upon throughout this and the next arc. Not to mention what’s going on with the Robotniks.

Mobius Comics was created with the intent to bring back the characters and stories from the Archie comics but integrating elements from the games and other Sonic franchises.
