In the Archie comics, Geoffrey was all over Sally but literally, specifically ONLY when Penders was writing him. Even other writers had Sally say she didn’t care for him. I don’t always subvert expectations but this was one of two ways I was going to handle Geoffrey hitting on someone. My first idea for this encounter was going to be Sally telling Geoffrey once to leave her alone and then bashing his face in when he tries again. But this is more fun and gets to show Sally’s jealous side. Hershey? No thanks, I’m not hungry. Also, Geoffrey isn’t that much older as there’s a flashback written by Penders that shows him as a kid when Sally was born.
