A little bit of backstory. Answers some questions while raising others.

Commentary: This page and the next one are the most difficult to write because I want to give all the relevant information but not in a way that’s boring or confusing. This continuity differs from the one in Archie. Mobotropolis is entirely gone, characters often associated with the Freedom Fighters aren’t part of the group, and we are starting off with the end to the first Sonic game.

Mobius Comics was created with the intent to bring back the characters and stories from the Archie comics but integrating elements from the games and other Sonic franchises. No matter what aspect of Sonic you’re familiar with, you’ll find things that are both familiar and new in this series.
