That’s our Sonic! One of Sonic’s flaws is his willingness to run headfirst into trouble and think it’ll all turn out fine. It usually does but not always. And how ironic the lock for the chaos emerald room is meant to keep everyone but the core Freedom Fighter members out.

Mobius Comics was created with the intent to bring back the characters and stories from the Archie comics but integrating elements from the games and other Sonic franchises. No matter what aspect of Sonic you’re familiar with, you’ll find things that are both familiar and new in this series. Another thing that will be the focus is consistent updates and putting out as much content as possible.
If you’d like to help support the series then you can on Patreon. Every dollar helps and is always appreciated. Patrons get pages a week early and at full resolution. Pledging more gets you more perks and that in turn helps in the creation of even more content such as illustrations and even more pages.

On the last panel on the left corner, can you add on something like “sometime later” or something when sonic steal the emeralds?
No.
Sonic is the antithesis of patience. He’s gotta go fast, after all.
Given his relationship with Sally, I suspect he really did mean it when he agreed with her, but then couldn’t handle it and changed his mind. That’s more in-character for him than lying, after all.
While I think adding “Sometime Later” to the bottom of the bottom left panel isn’t the only way to do it, I agree that the flow of this short timeskip doesn’t work.
There’s too little space between parts A and B, I had to stop and reexamine the panels to figure out what had happened in the story. In the future, I’d recommend giving the “big reveal” of something like the big empty room with the empty slots for the emeralds more panel space so the eye naturally dwells on it longer, a visual way of giving the reader a sense of time passing. 🙂 Or perhaps a different viewing angle, over Sally’s shoulder looking up at the empty spaces from a doorway, looking up at something like that also makes it more impactful. 🙂
Hey, so… In the Archie comics, doesn’t Silver come back from the post apocalyptic future to try and find and stop a traitor in the freedom fighters so he can save the world before it becomes what he grew up with or something??? And doesn’t the “traitor” turn out to be AI Sally? I don’t remember her actually having a character in the original Archie series, just a reveal. Did Eggman unwittingly create the mastermind of the end of all Mobius? I’m SCARED.
Theory: Nobody’s actually stolen the Chaos Emeralds, they’ve just gone back to the Special Zone.
