The Knuckles slander must end! And in order to do that, certain things have to be done in addition to the usual Eggman gaslighting. It’s also necessary since Angel Island doesn’t have a population of 1. Which means Eggman is putting on one hell of a performance along with some top tier coaching. Jim Carrey, eat your heart out!

Mobius Comics was created with the intent to bring back the characters and stories from the Archie comics but integrating elements from the games and other Sonic franchises. No matter what aspect of Sonic you’re familiar with, you’ll find things that are both familiar and new in this series. Another thing that will be the focus is consistent updates and putting out as much content as possible.
If you’d like to help support the series then you can on Patreon. Every dollar helps and is always appreciated. Patrons get pages a week early and at full resolution. Pledging more gets you more perks and that in turn helps in the creation of even more content such as illustrations and even more pages.

I’m curious… I haven’t played many Sonic games, just the first couple and saw some cartoons and comics. Did games centered around this location (and Knuckles) not feature Eggman? Is this some way to sort of retcon him in? It seems a tad contrived, but also I like how the pieces are fitting together. Is that’s what’s going on here? Will Angel Island float back up into the sky once the Death Egg isn’t using it for a toilet anymore? I bet that thing weighs a ton.
Sonic 3 & Knuckles has Eggman crashing on Angel Island twice. He tricks Knuckles into thinking Sonic is evil and steals the Master Emerald. That happens in the Genesis games. Eggman even goes after the Master Emerald in Sonic Adventure 1 and 2.
If Sonic made a friend on Angel Island, then who is it? (It can’t be Knuckles that true, right?)
Will every magic be chaos-power based like Ixis Naugus’ Ixian Magicks and Iron Queen’s Magitek?
Does Nicole have a crush on Shard? (PS: If Nicole become a real-living being, will she have Magitek to stay connected with technology?)
Ohhh, so this is a modified version of those events retconned in to line up with the rest of the story! I like it, this feels very smooth.
I was watching a youtube video on the ’06 Unity mod and I had a thought about this comic.
So I understand the whole “leaving you wicked tired” thing is supposed to represent the chaos emeralds draining your rings over time, right? We haven’t seen power rings in the story at all yet.
Are you planning to not include them at all? I feel the comic is going for a more subtle approach when integrating things like that from the games, which I like, as it helps with story immersion, but they are iconic.
Are they going to wind up existing in the form they’re shown in in the movie? As portals to other world, layers of reality, or just places? Or are we never going to know until/if they suddenly show up? I’m dying to know!
